Not sure anybody in this forum cares, but...

Listening on the radio.

Glenwood - 42
Southeast - 0

Halftime

Sounds like Danny Boy is really letting McAdams throw the ball around -- 7 of 10 for 225 yds. and 3 TDs.

Wow, kind of running the score up a bit, eh?  Maybe not..., what was the final?

I think it is time to approach the IHSA about the recruiting efforts of Chatham. The Helm kid magically transfers in and Donovan Hammonds attended and graduated from Little Flower Catholic grade school in Springfield. Something is not right here. :) :sneaky:

Glenwood has always had a good running attack but they are a better passing team this year than we usually see. An open question, is this the best Glenwood team since the 1998 team? If they win at Rochester this coming week I think more people will become comvinced about how good they really are.

wouldn't call it running up the score -- it is very commonplace for teams to leave their starters in against lesser opponents until they get a 40 pt. lead and the running clock. Griffin does it all the time.

Recruiting? maybe...but, let's not go there, because accusations will just start flying around.

And this could very possibly be the best Glenwood team since 1998. Although, I think the 1999 team was also very good, but got beat by Peoria ND in the second round of the playoffs. Having a 3 year starter at QB really opens Rourke's playbook. They are much more willing to throw the ball, which I haven't seen since 1998 with Griff Juergens and Ken Boyle. The matchup next week with Rochester will definitely answer some questions, and with a Glenwood win, the conference championship will be decided week 8.
