Cyclone freshman outlasted the Crimsons 42-40 in a war Saturday morning. The humidity was oppressive and the extra effort required each step in 5 inch Jacksonville fescue commanded all the energy each team could muster.

Cyclones showed a lot of character at the end, stopping Jax on downs at about our own 15. Great game.

All....  I saw a picture of the freshman roster a couple of days ago. Not a lot size (but they grow quickly), does the future look good cyclops? I assume you were at that game. Ratsy

They seem to have a decent core of really good players, but depth may be an issue. Same with size, a half dozen will be monsters, but it drops off pretty quick. Like you suggested, however, these are growing years.

4-1 so far, getting whupped pretty good by Glenwood, who is undefeated. They are learning and are growing. No real burners on the team and have a ways to go with the tackling, but they'll be fine.
