if anyone was planning on eating lunch somewhere near the field, i recommend Rocks, its a bar and grill and is very good.I've had many good meals there while living in champaign. I think it is off Springfield Ave. it is worth trying

Better yet, come by the SHG Tailgate tent.  Whatever Rich is cooking will be good and you get to eat with a few hundred fired-up Cyclone fans.

NO!!!

IHSA and the U of I threaten to forfeit the game of any school violating the no alcohol ban.  For safety sake, I take that to mean at least not in the same parking lot as the rest of the SHG cars and official tent.

A couple of Catamites called Ruppert's show today to proclaim that they'd never cheer for SHG, no matter what.

That's fair, I guess.  Without SHG and perhaps someday Jacksonville or Taylorville, the CS8 would not win another championship.

They're just mad because the Titans gave up football just before the Cahokia game.

Checking in again from Flowery Branch, GA... just like last year.  Hate to miss it but at least the IHSA is streaming the video signal over the web this year.

Go Cyclones.  Repeat baby!  Back to back championships!!!!

Very impressive start for the sophomore QB from MCC. That kid is very savvy in the pocket...and sprinting out. He is giving the Griffin defense all it can handle with his arm.

The Hurricanes had to convert on 3 different fourth downs to get their score. Expect Griffin to make a few adjustments in their coverage and blirz packages at the half to get a little more pressure on Budmayer whether it be through better coverage downfield or from the d-line and linebackers...

Can't wait for the second half.

Yes!

Great job by the staff letting the offense play in the 4th.  I was getting worried after that easy 3 and out in the begining of the 4th.

Congrats to everyone involved with Cyclone football!

Congratulations Cyclones!  You've made us proud.  If anyone is looking to Rock 'n Roll tonight, stop by the Forty Niner Bye-Bye.  Golden Egg (SHG class of '95) will be rockin' all evening.
