Lost the web feed.

Final 42-24

Jersey averaged over five yards per carry, all against the SHG starters.   Great game by a 2-7 team.

Stats:

Brenneissen:  20/31 with 2 interceptions, 247 yards.  He passed Scott Norris for the most season yards since the CS8 began.  If my total is right, he's now at 2200 yards, second on the all time GHS/SHG single season passing list and about 241 yards behind Bart Geiser for first.

Trevor Crane (Jersey) 30 carries, 171 yards.

Reavy, six catches, 2 TDs
Sanders five catches
Pendergrass five catches, 2 TDs.

So what was the weather like in Jerseyville? Was there alot of rain contributing to the turnovers, or was the offense just off their game (in terms of turnovers)?

All...Agreed, would of liked to seen a rematch with the Panthers after the tweaking of the defense due in large part because of that game.  Ratsy
