Rock Island was quick and very talented. Their QB is a tremendous athlete and runner, sometimes running for his life. Our defense was crazy good for the second game in a row. We took away most everything they wanted to do, containing their running game and hurrying their passing. They had a couple called back and dropped another possible TD. It did not have the feel of a blowout until late in the third quarter.

The Rocks slowed our running game early, but eventually the boys opened up their usual large holes. Tim B was smooth and accurate, making big pass after big pass. Great effort by the Cyclones, looking more special by the game.

From the video feed, it looked pretty thin.  No idea howvit comaredvto ours because of the camera placement, but even at midfield there were big gaps.

I would say 2,000 for Rock Island and 1,200 for us. The place is huge.
