So our brothers in Cyclone Nation can keep up to date on what the little guys are doing. Fine win last night Cyclones. 1-0 and off to a great start. Get healthy and good luck vs. Mac next week.

Donnstate, for me, is below I-80, if you're wondering.

QND 39
Hannibal (MO) 21
Hannibal ranked #2 in Class 4 (6 class system) in Missouri heading into last night after coming back to defeat Jeff City Helias 49-28 trailing 21-0 at one point.
Big win for the Raiders, and a win we didn't have penciled in. 65 yd pass over the top for score started the year off rather nicely. Helps the playoff push indeed as Connell and his Gold Dome Gang are in pursuit of their winning tradition again after failing to reach the playoffs for the 1st time in 13 seasons and just the 2nd time during Bill Connell's 26 year tenure.

Reed Hyer (WR) 7 catches, 135 yds, 2 TD
Nick Wellman (QB) 9-13, 1 INT, 204 yds passing, 3 TD
Jackson Connell (RB) 11 rushes for 112 yds, 2 TD, 1 catch 65 yds TD

Breese Mater Dei 27
Effingham 26
Mater Dei led 27-0 at the half. Effingham turned it over 5 times and had that not been the case, the Knights may be staring at 0-1.

Alleman 23
Peoria Notre Dame 6
Alleman led 23-0 at the half. A very nice week 1 win for Alleman. They travel to Quincy next week to face QND in what should be a dandy of a matchup.

Decatur St. Teresa 25
Downs Tri-Valley 20
St. T is scary good for small school football. Jacardia Wright, a man amongst boys in that class of football. Going to hear his name a ton this season.
