I think they need to start charging for these webfeeds. That's the only way we will be able to get it without it cutting in and out. Very frustrating... gocycs.gif

No it is not the only way...listen to any other radio station online...they do it...1450 just needs to use a wider bandwidth!!

I'm listening from 1000 miles away! It makes me wonder why I see photos of many fans in the stands with headphones on?!!? The last thing I want to do is listen to a broadcast of a game I am at!

I don't know anything about computers but I'd assume that widening your bandwith costs money. Either way I don't really care, I'd much rather pay and get the whole game then have it like it was today.

Photos from last weeks game had some game great shots of the SHG stands at Memorial Stadium.(except too many had headphones on) You will have to look around for the thread that dealt w/ the  game against BMAC.

Home.

CAN THEM SOUTHERN BOYS HIT OR NOT?!?!?!?!?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Guys, this was the best I have EVER seen the GHS/SHG "D" play!  They were crushing NC's supposedly wonderful running back at or behing the LOS every play.  In the second half when NC went to the pass, the NC quarterback was surrounded by black and runing for his life on every play.  He's a great athlete and sometimes did get loose to throw a pass (one of them illegal - across the LOS), but Stieren and Edwards and Collings and the crew spent the whole half chasing him around his own backfield.

We totally dominated their offensive line from gun to gun.     They said NC was fast - and they were.  But they learned two very hard lessons today.  SHG''s pretty d**n fast, too - and Cyclones HIT!  Hard!

Their downtown coach learned one hard lesson today - you don't come into somebody else's house and disrespect them.

ON TO CHAMPAIGN (NOW we can finally say it!)!!

Oh, I'm one of the ones with aan earbud in one ear - its the best way to find out what's really going on when your view of the field is blocked by CHEERING CYCLONE FANS.

http://allemanhighschool.org/athletics/tea...rroster05.shtml

'Bout like us - some size but not overwhelming, less than 40 on the varsity roster.  Only loss was their season opener to Addison Driscoll.

Common opponent: Lombard Montini, Alleman won 35-32.

Won the Western Big Six conference.Six of nine regular season opponents had losing records.

Looking at their whole season, we will definitely be favorites, but how/who they played in week three is irelevant.  What matters is how we and they play next Saturday morning.

A guy called into 1450's post game show and said that he went the Alleman game and that they are a straight power run team. He compared them to Metamora but not as good. He said they had little or no passing game. Said they did not look particularly fast or big. He said Cahokia could have won but turnovers cost them. I assume we will get more info on Alleman as the week goes on.
